Broken Hearts Chapter 9

Avu- *closed her eyes* Sid.. I..

*Before she could say further she felt loud foot steps and she opened eyes... She saw Sid running away*

Avu- *she was shocked* He pranked her... *In mind* how I wish it was real.. *she thought about what she just thought but without thinking about it.. she ran behind him to make him pay for it*

Avu- *running behind him* Sid.. come back or I will eat your mango ice-cream..

Sid- don't dare to bring it in between.. *chuckling*

Avu- *she was running behind him with pillow but suddenly her leg twisted... and she fell on floor..* Ahhhh...

*Sid thought it was a prank too so he left but when she didn't get up.. so he got worried and ran back to her..*

Sid- What happened avu.. you okay? *concerned*

Avu- Noo... *Tears she was controlling until now... rolled down her cheeks*

*Sid quickly sat beside her and called his mom to come upstairs*

Sid- Areee.. don't cry plz... *He quickly wiped her tears and tried checking if her leg was swollen or bruised*

Avu was looking at him and wincing at times when sid tilted her leg

Sid's Mom came

Mom- What happened avu? *Concerned* *Her concern turned into anger on Sid and she gave a deathly glare to him* Why is she crying.. you hurted her?

Sid- Look at me.. *making puppy face* Can I ever hurt her...?

Avu- are mom.. I fell and started crying and he came back to help me.. he is so caring.. 🥺🥺

Mom- Oh then it is good.. 😇

Sid- *rolled his eyes seeing how his mother is no longer taking his side... but inside he is happy also because he haven't seen her this happy ever*

Sid- *he left his thoughts at side and asked Avneet to stand up* Okay Avu try to stand up..

*Avneet followed but her leg hurts so she bent down again*

Mom- Avu be careful..

Sid don't want to see her in pain so he took her in bridal style.. means he took her in his arms... Avneet wasn't expecting this so her face collided into his neck and her finger trailed his  muscles..

Mom- Finally a thoughtful thing... *Chuckling* Okay drop her in your room today

Sid- My room..??

Mom- Hmm.. it is risky to come downstairs like this..

Sid- hmm.. I know

Mom- Good boy.. I will bring first aid for her...

*Sid agreed and took her in his room*

*In room*

Sid asked her to be careful as he was making her sleep on bed..

He leaned to place her on bed but her left hand slipped off his shoulder making right hand to pull him over her..

It was the first time when both of them were this close... Sid on top of her and Avneet under him.. Avneet's eyes were closed.. while sid couldn't process anything seeing her this close.. and without any thought he placed a kiss on her lips..

Avneet's eyes opened in a jerk.. she looked at him who was lost in that kiss and kept on staring at him but soon he got back to senses and their eyes met..

Sid's POV

Sid *in mind*- Oh shit sid... What you just did... I don't regret it but still what would she think about me.. will she think that I fell on her purposely.. god.. what I just did...

Sid quickly stood up

Avneet's POV

Avneet *in mind*- Is he regretting kissing me.. may be he is.. or what if he is thinking that I did it on purpose..

Sidneet *in unison* - I am sorry.. I lost Balance.. It was my fault...

Their eyes met again but in an instance the eye lock broke because his Mom entered...

Sid quickly left as he was feeling shy of Avneet.. also he have to prepare and rediscuss things with Faisu for his Inter College Basketball Tournament.. which is tomorrow

They have been winning since long and sid have planned something for Faisu this time... so it is important
